Step into the Words of Ken Kesey. The Kesey Farm Project is seeking four dynamic actors to bring Ken Kesey’s unforgettable characters to life during, Never Give an Inch, a staged reading of selections from Cuckoo’s Nest, Notion, and Demon Box as part of a fundraising event at the historic Kesey Farm.

All roles are volunteer. Proceeds benefit the Kesey Farm Project, preserving the farm as a creative hub and educational center for generations to come.

About the Director
Michael Nankin has been a working writer, director and producer for 47 years. He began making films at age 10 and directed his first feature film, MIDNIGHT MADNESS, for Disney at age 22. As a young writer, he was mentored by RAY BRADBURY. He has since worked in features and television as a writer, director, producer and showrunner. His independent film, THE GATE, was the highest-grossing Canadian-produced film ever at the time of its release. His first series, LIFE GOES ON, was the first series that presented a continuing character with Down Syndrome as well as the first HIV-positive continuing character. Chad Lowe won an Emmy for his portrayal. Nankin’s credits include: HOUSE OF DAVID, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, BILLY THE KID, THE GOOD LORD BIRD, CHAPELWAITE, HELL ON WHEELS, TURN, THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, BLACK SAILS and many others. He is a Peabody Award, Humanitas Prize and Leo Award winner. He is also a teacher of directing and acting. About the Producer
David Weddle has been working as a writer/producer in television for more than 30 years, on such series as: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (for which he won a Peabody Award), FOR ALL MANKIND (for which he won an Emmy Award), THE STRAIN, STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE, FALLING SKIES, and CSI. Weddle wrote the critically acclaimed book, “IF THEY MOVE… KILL ‘EM!” THE LIFE AND TIMES OF SAM PECKINPAH, and the best selling book, AMONG THE MANSIONS OF EDEN. He has also written for such publications as: ROLLING STONE, LOS ANGELES TIMES MAGAZINE, THE WASHINGTON POST, SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE, AND SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS.
